It's safe to say that the angry chants "ca-si-NO!", name slinging like "Sugar HELL", and the crazy uproar that was stirred up in the past few years has settled like a dust cloud of powdered sugar. When SugarHouse Casino first opened, there were many mixed emotions from neighboring riverside communities such as Old City, Northern Liberties, Fishtown, and Port Richmond. Well, we have been paying attention, and things are well, pretty tame, half a year later.
