Stephanie and I are very excited about attending Inman New's Real Estate Connect in New York City for the third straight year this coming up week. We have found that this provides us a jump-start for the whole year and helps us stay ahead of the curve with all the technology and innovation that is out there.
Of all the conferences, this is probably our favourite one to attend. Besides, we love staying in the Big Apple for a few days and having a drink at The View . In addition, there is a bonus day of Agent Reboot ! If you … (6 comments)

Real Estate is a Contact Sport As I am looking forward to going to Real Estate Bar Camp Atlantic City in December and Inman Real Estate Connect in January and teaching blogging and social media internally at RE/MAX Access, the focus obvioulsy will be on technology. Technology is a great tool to help grow your business. Jeff Turner gave a terrific presentation at the Real Estate Connect Inman Conference on "Go Beyond Blogging - Integrate All of Your Web 2.0 Tactics" The 12 things I learned from his presentation are as follows: 1. Web 2.0 = interaction. Social networking exposes the social graph. 2. Social media is about engaging others, not selling them. 3. I should set up an account on Flickr. Want more business ? Take a Vacation at the Inman Conference ! I have read in the past that one constant rule of thumb to do more business is simply to go on vacation. For this is the best time for leads and prospects to call to sell or to buy (when you are away) ! Well to add to that, I would suggest to take your vacation to the Inman Conference, combining great fun with insightful information !
