Philly Beer Week may have been pushed back to June, but there's plenty of hops to be had during the month of March. We're giving you early notice so that you can get your hands on some tickets.
First, March 12-14 has been dubbed Philly Beer Weekend, with a list of events that includes promo nights from breweries at our local pubs. One of the more interesting events, Feats of Strength and Weakness, will take place at the Grey Lodge Pub in the Wissinoming area. Watching brewery reps compete is always a good time.

There's a new place to enjoy a pale ale in Northern Liberties. Last week, Yards Brewing Company opened up a tasting room, where customers can hang out and get an early start on drinking their purchases. Head on over to the Brewery at 901 N. Delaware Ave. for your next happy hour. The riverside watering hole will be open from noon to 7 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Need a little more satisfaction with that?
