I cringe when sales people e.g. real estate agents brag on how little sleep they get, how available they are by phone to their clients and how they'll leave the dinner table or a family vacation to assist a client. They think theirs extra trophy's, extra pay, extra credit for this behavior...NOT! They are heading for the big crash, the burnout that kills the joy, the enthusiasm and the effectiveness of that agent's skills. A view from "The Bench" Today is a day I value being benched. Sundays are for quiet reflection, relaxing and recharging in my world. They are a day with the family and friends, investing in the relationships dearest to me.
