I recently had to "educate" an agent and her Sales Manager on the black & white boiler plate text written within our RPA (Residential Purchase Agreement) and to the sales manager, her behavior. I'm always amused (and disappointed) when an agent "interprets" the contract for their own purposes; well, if it's done well, I applaud them for taking the shot-representing the interests of their client....but in this case it wasn't in the best interest of my seller. Head Trash is the stinking thinking only you see the world through; your conditioned response mechanism. The "knee-jerk" reaction in you instead of the thought out response from you. It's your fears, your life experiences, your beliefs arrived at by all you've been through. But, I have not been through that, I've been through my own. And your clients their own and other Realtors their own and so on. So, essentially no one is wrong, yet a problem exists, so someone needs to change something or else here we are, stuck.

Are you so focused on the content, you forget to connect?
Don't get so focused on the content or the presentation of it,
that you lose the opportunity to connect with your clients (your audience).
 
 
You are there to make a connection more so than deliver the information. Don't get me wrong, you have to know your market, know your numbers and know how to deliver the goods. But, chances are, the client already has a sense about you that you do knows this data, that's why they are interviewing you!
