Home Staging and Showhomes was recently feautred in a Chinese Daily newspaper:
This is a first for our company and the only Chinese story on home staging I've ever seen! Showhomes had a booth at the 2008 California Association of Realtors Expo last week in LA. A reporter stopped by and help an interview with our staff and snapped some photos which appeared in the newspaper.

Eric, the author pointed out some really disturbing trends where theives are stealing homes of furniture from staged homes. This is not a new problem - staged homes and homes where people are moving out or in have traditionally been targets for theft. In Paradise Valley, our franchise owner returned from market to find an entire home of really expensive staging furniture stolen:

Kathy Steimle who works in Showhomes Riverside emailed me this photo of a $1.5 million dollar home in Murrieta, CA they staged this week with a live in Home Manager:

Trade Shows are a great marketing source - a trade show is one of the few marketing functions where you can get in front of a lot of potential customers in a short period of time. The Simmons market research firm survey said that 91% of people surveyed said trade shows were their favorite source for purcahsing information. Think about it - people come to a trade show to buy because they are interested in the topic.

Newly Staged in Portland - Sold in 3 Weeks!
Edie Moll from Showhomes Portland, one of our newest Showhomes franchise locations, emailed these photos of a home they staged the first week of September. The comfortable home had been on the market for some time and like lots of new construction, was sitting vacant with little activity and no buyers.
The home went under contract Monday and the offer was accepted yeserday! That's less than 30 days to sell!
Way to go - the clean staging made all the difference!
