Better to be safe than sorry!

Wow, it seems as though the tropics are beckoning to be seen all of the sudden! We are, of course, in the middle of Hurricane Season, so here are some tips that we've all seen before, but could stand to be reminded of...

have at least 1 gallon of water per person for 3-7 days

have enough non-perishable food to last you for 3-7 days

make sure you have enough toiletries/hygiene items on hand

fill your prescriptions/medications and have a first aid kit handy

make sure you have enough elderly & baby supplies; diapers, formula, food, medications

have ready cash

fill your propane tanks

have plenty of batteries for flashlights and radios

fill up your gas tanks

waterproof important documents

be sure to have pet supplies

make sure your family has a plan for evacuation, if necessary

Like I said, most of these tips are pretty much common sense, but it doesn't hurt to review them. It's better to be safe than sorry! Stay safe during this Hurricane Season!

Crystal :)
