FSBO: "my grandmother is a real estate agent. . " - 11/30/07 08:40 AM
I noticed that I stood up from chair with my phone in my hand. . . and I felt my blood pressure going up. This For Sale By Owner was basically doing surgery on herself and if things got bad. . then she had a back up plan, she was going to call her grandmother. It seems that she apparently got her Realtor's license last year to be a part timer because she "lost" her job at the grocery store. . . This is how it went. . ME: " So, let me get this straight, if you can't find a buyer on your own, (0 comments)

The recent slowdown in the real estate market is causing many home owners to fall behind on their mortgage payments. Germantown Maryland - 11/27/07 06:07 AM
"Germantown MD is too far, and there is no transportation!" As a real estate agent, I get a lot of these comments that aren't accurate to say the list. Transportation in Germantown is available from all angles. Germantown sits a short distance from Interstate 270 and is a stop on the MARC train commuter service's Brunswick Line, which operates over CSX's Metropolitan Subdivision. The railroad station is located at the corner of Liberty Mill Road and Mateny Hill Road. The Montgomery County public bus system Ride On, serves Germantown with approximately 20 bus routes, and operates a major transit hub at (0 comments)
Short Sales in Montgomery County Maryland - 11/26/07 09:40 PM
Short Sales are another way for Realtors to provide their services to the public. Exactly how successful are the Realtors in Montgomery county MD righ now? Here are the numbers. . . In 2007 there were 340total listings entered into the MLS system and branded as a short sale in the Internet remark section for Montgomery county MD From these 340 listings. . there are only 21 reported SOLD for the whole year! There are currently 29 "short sales" reported under contract w/ or w/out KO The pick up in the properties under contract shows that Realtors are being more creative in getting these short sales SOLD. Still, the (1 comments)
Psst. .wanna buy a house cheap? nothing down-bad credit OK! - 11/13/07 05:50 PM
Let me set the scenario.. . You are walking in the street and here is Joe Blow wearing a rain coat revealing "Rolex" watches REAL CHEAP!!! and if you want to buy a house. . well he's got one as well and he'll arrange the financing for you. Sounds far fetched?? Not so fast.. . .in Maryland and Virginia there has been a wave of Realtors operating at the edge of being unethical, providing financing for their clients as well.. . One of the reasons why we had the problems we are facing now is because several people specially minorities have signed contracts (0 comments)
