"When Mold Attacks" When Mold Attacks It is often described as on of the most destructive powers to destroy a home in virtually no time. I have seen mold before where it completely engulfed a house and repairs are not possible. In this particular vacant short sale belonging to an out of town investor, a leak had developed from the water heater unbeknownst to us. We sold a short sale for a very nice lady and the worse obstacle we faced was from one of her family members. . The one she tried to help with her good heart . ..and not her head! $100,000 overpriced! I got a call from an exasperated seller. The bank was threatening to foreclose the property if he did not have an offer soon and it seems his agent was not helping by NOT SELLING HIS HOME.
