STOP FORECLOSURE!        YOU HAVE OPTIONS!

If you are facing property foreclosure, you might be confused about your rights as a homeowner. Financial stress can make everything seem so much worse than it really is. It's time to take a deep breath and explore your options. You can stop foreclosure using an easy way known as short sale or loan modification.

What is a short sale?

A short sale will stop foreclosure and it is a faster and easy way to avoid foreclosure, in fact. A qualified representative can negotiate with your mortgage lender to get the lender to accept less than what is actually owed on your home. If you are at least one payment behind and are represented by a qualified specialist, this is a very likely option.

What is the best Loan Modification?

The best Loan Modification for the homeowner not only allows the homeowner to stay in their home but also creates a a plan for long term success for the homeowner. This means that you will, as a result of the Loan Modification, be able to maintain your home and recover from what ever your financial crisis is over time, knowing your home is safe from foreclosure.

Do not let a foreclosure ruin your credit, carefully examine the short sale option along with other stop foreclosure alternatives, for instance, loan modification.

What is Debt Settlement?

Debt Settlement can help free up money and save you thousands of dollars.

Types of Unsecured debts which may be put into this program are: Bank Credit Card Debts, Store Card Credit Card Debts, Credit Union Credit Card Debt, Non Government Issued Student Loans, Medical Bills, 2nd Mortgages from foreclosed home.

This program works! It is a unique program which utilizes debt settlement through a Law firm to substantially reduce your debt.

The entire program will cost approximately 55% of what you owe legal fees included, payed in affordable monthly installments.

However the prepaid VR-Tech MasterCard does something that your typical bank or credit union debit card does not do. That is the prepaid VR-Tech MasterCard has a credit builder feature.

Here is how it works:

1. Enroll into the Prepaid VR-Tech MasterCard at no cost click here.

2. Activate AccountNow Bill Pay and add the FREE AccountNow Credit Builder service.

3. Every time you make a bill payment with AccountNow Bill Pay, we will send your bill payment information to PRBC, a national credit reporting agency

4. Build a bill payment history to demonstrate your credit worthiness when applying for housing, credit, insurance, employment, phone, and utility hook-up by doing what you already to today - - paying your rent, electric, cable, insurance, and phone bills on time.

5. Only Bill Pay transactions will be shared with PRBC. Regular debit transactions using your AccountNow Prepaid MasterCard will not be reported to PRBC.

Who uses PRBC?

Home loan associations like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and Citicorp Mortgage use bill payment information as part of their decision making process for home loans.

Soon, other companies including auto loan, credit card, and insurance companies may start using Bill Payment Scores to comply with the Nation's Fair Housing and Fair Lending laws.

Hello, my name is Tim J Thrift Independent Agent and Qualified Field Trainer with United Credit Education Services.

With the recent down turn in the economy and the credit crunch there have been many unfortunate cases where consumers have been taken advantage of and wrongly represented by Credit Repair Companies. Rightfully so the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) has began "Operation Clean Sweep" In which some 36 so called credit repair companies have been shut down.

As a result of this crack down I have come across much resistance from inquiring consumers about United Credit Education Services Credit Restoration and Education Program. The first question they ask. Is credit repair legal? My answer is YES it is legal and then I explain how it is legal. As a consumer you have a legal right to dispute any inaccurate, erroneous and obsolete information that is negatively impacting your credit score under the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act). You may Google the FCRA Fair Credit Reporting Act to read or visit the ftc.gov site. Warning this is an 80 plus page document full of legal jargon that will mostly likely put you to sleep. In addition to that I explain to them that United Credit Education Services is in full compliance with the CROA (Credit Repair Organization Act). The CROA is the act or law that mandates compliance of credit repair companies. The very law that is shutting down these credit repair companies who a wrongfully doing business. Below I have copied from the ftc.gov website to show example of this explanation of the CROA.

                                            SEC. 402. FINDINGS AND PURPOSES.(3)

(a) Findings.--The Congress makes the following findings:

(1) Consumers have a vital interest in establishing and maintaining their credit worthiness and credit standing in order to obtain and use credit. As a result, consumers who have experienced credit problems may seek assistance from credit repair organizations which offer to improve the credit standing of such consumers.

(2) Certain advertising and business practices of some companies engaged in the business of credit repair services have worked a financial hardship upon consumers, particularly those of limited economic means and who are inexperienced in credit matters.

(b) Purposes.--The purposes of this title are--

(1) to ensure that prospective buyers of the services of credit repair organizations are provided with the information necessary to make an informed decision regarding the purchase of such services; and

(2) to protect the public from unfair or deceptive advertising and business practices by credit repair organizations.

The second question I am getting is. Is it illegal to charge an upfront fee for credit repair service? Folks this is one area of this business that absolutely just makes me want to scream because of this reason. Any place you go on the internet such as ftc.gov and certainly the credit reporting agencies Trans Union, Equifax and Experian you will read that it is illegal to charge upfront fees for credit repair before any services has been provided. And it is illegal under the law to charge upfront fees. But here is what you will not be told or read unless you go directly to the CROA and read the law. I have provided a copy of the law from the ftc.gov site notice highlighted in below. (B) does not include--

SEC. 403. DEFINITIONS.(4)

For purposes of this title, the following definitions apply:

(1) Consumer. -- The term 'consumer' means an individual.

(2) Consumer credit transaction. -- The term 'consumer credit transaction' means any transaction in which credit is offered or extended to an individual for personal, family, or household purposes.

(3) Credit repair organization. -- The term 'credit repair organization'--

(A) means any person who uses any instrumentality of interstate commerce or the mails to sell, provide, or perform (or represent that such person can or will sell, provide, or perform) any service, in return for the payment of money or other valuable consideration, for the express or implied purpose of--

(i) improving any consumer's credit record, credit history, or credit rating; or

(ii) providing advice or assistance to any consumer with regard to any activity or service described in clause (i); and

(B) does not include--

(i) any nonprofit organization which is exempt from taxation under section 501(c)

(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986;

(ii) any creditor (as defined in section 103 of the Truth in Lending Act),(5) with respect to any consumer, to the extent the creditor is assisting the consumer to restructure any debt owed by the consumer to the creditor; or

(iii) any depository institution (as that term is defined in section 3 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act) or any Federal or State credit union (as those terms are defined in section 101 of the Federal Credit Union Act), or any affiliate or subsidiary of such a depository institution or credit union.

(4) Credit.--The term 'credit' has the meaning given to such term in section 103(e) of this Act.(6)

United Credit Education Services does charge an upfront fee and has a number of flexible payment option in which consumers can pay for our credit restoration and education service. Currently UCES is compliant with (i) any nonprofit organization which is exempt from taxation under section 501(c) and (iii) any depository institution (as that term is defined in section 3 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act) or any Federal or State credit union (as those terms are defined in section 101 of the Federal Credit Union Act), or any affiliate or subsidiary of such a depository institution or credit union.   United Credit Education Services is a member of a CUSO (Credit Union Services Organization) and affiliated with a Credit Union. Therefore we can legally charge an upfront fee.

Even though I have shared this information in a blog my intent is to inform and protect our Independent Agent and the Consumer. What separates United Credit Education Services from other credit repair companies is the following.

  • Money-back guarantee!
  • Members of the BBB.
  • Outstanding deletion rate!
  • Monitor your file's progress around the clock 24/7/365.
  • Testimonials from happy, satisfied clients.
  • 100% compliance with the FTC and CROA Acts.

The credit reporting agencies will never produce accurate credit reports. What? You might be even more surprised to know that congress has acknowledged this fact and created legislation that virtually guarantees a continuation of credit reporting errors and the necessity for vigilant credit restoration. That's Right? This legislation is called the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

The FCRA Problem

You may understand the FCRA as the wonderful federal law that outlines credit repair procedures and allows you to dispute errors on your report. Or maybe you understand it as the law that imposes responsibility and accountability on the credit reporting agencies, and, oh, where would we be without it? Okay, there is no doubt that the FCRA limits the potentially catastrophic damage that the credit reporting agencies would impose on an unwary public, but it also tolerates major errors, and by doing so guarantees that they will exist for the foreseeable future.

A Big Social Cost

The law is a wonderful thing. It protects the innocent and maintains a semblance of social order. But the scales of justice tip two ways, often insulating the offender in a cozy blanket of due process. In the case of the FCRA the law is designed to impose a reasonable degree of responsibility on the subject industry, without overburdening them with excessive and costly guidelines. And this last point turns out to be the problem, at least as far as the one hundred million consumers who are paying premium interest rates because of errors on their credit reports.

The Credit Repair Balancing Act

So what does this all mean? Understand that lawmakers face tough decisions. The credit reporting agencies are massive business entities, and guess what? We can't exist without them. Well, maybe we could, but the business world is completely dependent, totally addicted to credit data. The credit reporting agencies each manage credit files on sum 200 million Americans along with billions of data updates each day. Errors are inevitable. You can't just tell them to adopt a zero-tolerance policy towards errors. It would cost too much and potentially make it impossible for the credit reporting agencies to stay in business.

What about You?

So what about you and the errors on your reports? Congress is not unsympathetic, and wants you to facilitate your credit restoration efforts and fix the mistakes that might keep you from getting a loan, a job, or insurance. Coming soon utilities rates and health insurance rates will be factored by your credit score. That's right. So they mandated the creation of annualcreditreport.com, the website where you may get your credit reports for free once each twelve months. Have you checked your report lately? And by the way your credit score is not included you will have to pay a fee for them.

The Plot Thickens

The plot thickens. It turns out that those darn credit reports, for most consumers, might as well be written in Greek. And even if you can make sense out of your report do you really know what you are looking at? Credit restoration success requires some reasonable working knowledge of the FCRA and access to FTC Staff Opinion Letters that interpret the law in practical application. You would also be well advised to bone up on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. And, oh yeah, make sure you know your state Statutes of Limitation. Credit restoration is tricky.

Credit Restoration is here to Stay. "My 30 second commercial"

So, who is looking out for you? You can't count on Big Brother. He may be watching, but he's not going to make sure that your credit report is okay. It's time to step up to the plate. If you can't manage the job on your own then hire United Credit Education Services to get the job done for you. There are a growing number of excellent credit repair companies that can handle the job for a small fee. United Credit Education Services is not a start up company we have been in business since 2003. Credit restoration is a growth industry so you will have to do a bit of homework to identify a truly professional operation.

Professional Credit Restoration Service

If you are going to hire a credit restoration service company, hire a good one. There are a few things to look out for. You should check their record with the Better Business Bureau. I suggest that you DO NOT do business with a credit restoration company that is not a BBB member in good standing. Also is there a money back guarantee? Be sure that the company will stand behind their service. Check out their success rate and client testimonies. Most importantly be sure that they have a 9-5 live customer support call center to support their customers and 24/7 365 online tracking. Or just hire United Credit Education Services and let us get you into the 700 club!!! WE CAN HELP!

"If you or someone you know has less than a 740 credit score

Then come see how United Credit Education Services is helping

Thousands of consumers get into the 700 club!!!"

I am sure you are aware that negative credit is a major problem that plagues millions of people in this country today. Without a doubt, it is the number one issue that prevents the overwhelming majority of your clients from realizing the American Dream of home ownership. We know that in the real estate and mortgage business you may have to contact dozens of prospects in order to find five to ten people whose credit is good enough to qualify for a home loan. That low percentage has been an accepted part of the business for years.

At United Credit Education Services, we have developed a process by which we work with consumers to research outdated, inaccurate and unverifiable information on their credit reports to improve their credit profiles. This service could help some of your prospects and put your company on the road to incredible growth. Imagine being able to recover potentially lost revenue from people you previously had to turn away. I'm sure you can see how this service could increase the number of transactions that you will be able to close. More importantly, this service could enable your clients to qualify for lower interest mortgages. That will make higher loan amounts affordable and enable them to buy the home that they really want.
