Third Quarter Info for Southern Illinois - 11/23/07 09:43 PM
Not that you needed it, but here is some more evidence of a slow market. It looks like the numbers are not as bad as a lot of places. Madison County took a big hit but they were up in Q3 2006 so it really makes the 06 to 07 numbers look bad. However, they have the strongest home appreciation. I find these figures peculiar -- the largest appreciation and largest drop in home sales. Anyone have thoughts on this disconnect? Are folks holding out for more money causing fewer sales?

Everybody loves pie! - 11/23/07 09:38 PM
I spent Wednesday night delivering pies to some of my past clients. Another agent in my office has her clients just come by and pick them up. She happens to have a lot more clients than I do so it wouldn't be possible for her to get to all of them, but I've only been an agent for a year and my group is still small -- but mighty! :P I was able to see most of the folks face to face but had to leave one or two on doorsteps. They really seemed to appreciate it though.

Hey folks, as the title may have hinted, this is my very first blog post. I was kind of living under a rock and just kind of woke up to the importance of blogging last week at the NAR Convention. Please, be patient! I am slow at learning new tricks but I hope to post some great content in the coming weeks. I am heading to GRI next week and we'll see what happens!
