Anaheim Hills Ca: Is the Yard House Restaurant taking over The Foxfire’s Location?

There has been a lot of talk in my neighborhood and around town in Yorba Linda that The Famous Foxfire Chophouse is closing. The rumor mill claims that there will be a Yard House Restaurant opening in its place. I was surprised to hear about this since I know The Foxfire has a pretty regular following of Dinner and Nightlife patrons.

I searched the Internet for any articles on the future change and found nothing. I was interested in finding out the truth so I just called The Foxfire. I was lucky to get a Manager on the phone at 10:30 in the morning. She told me that she had also heard the rumor too.  As far as she knows they have a lease that does not expire until July 2013.

It would be great if The Foxfire stayed and A Yard House came to town! I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens next summer.

Short Sale Tip for Home Buyers: Short sales listings have become a large portion of the listing inventory in today real estateshort sale market. Often these listings are the only options for buyers to choose from. I have been invloved with short sale transactions on both sides, representing buyers and representing sellers. My years of experience have taught me to watch out for certian red flags and to find out all of the variables before entering into a transaction.

Today's Tip is for Home Buyers of Condominniums, Town homes or any home that is in an association that has dues.

  • Find out up front is there are Delinquent Association Dues

In many cases if a home owner is not paying their mortgage  payment they may not be paying their Home Owner's Association Dues either. This can crop up as a huge problem if you are not aware of the outstanding dues until you are close to closing.

The lienholders will usually not pay for anything Association related.  FHA does not allow home buyers to pays these types of closing costs. The Seller usually does not have the funds to pay...so most times the deal falls apart.
