Auction Home Listings: Should they be listed on the MLS? There is a real estate agent in my area that have made it their claim to fame by selling homes in 1 day. Their marketing strategy is this: The property is listed about 40% under the current market value. They only allow the property to be show on the day of the sale. Buyer have to be approved by their lender. Buyer's agent basically get a referral fee. I do not think that our MLS system was designed to have properties listed under these circumstances. North Orange County Residents are you prepared for an Earthquake? The recent terrible earthquake and Tsunami in Japan has motivated me to get a new "Earthquake Preparedness Kit" together. Over the years I have had them shoved in the corner of my garage with supplies that were long expired. I have written a few other blogs with lists of items to include but this time I have actual picture of my own.
This is just the basics...I will be expanding on it over the next few weeks.
