Quotes to think about... - 06/26/09 08:06 PM
Everytime I watch my daughter, Tiffany, I think about this quote.  She is so full of life and not much seems to phase her.  Tiffany, for the most part, is in her own little world.  At times, I have to snap her out of it for just a few minutes, but, many, many times more....I try to join her in her world.  It is much more fun in there!
Look, I don't want to wax philosophic, but I will say that if you're alive you've got to flap your arms and legs, you've got to jump around a lot, for life is … (4 comments)

It finally happened!! - 06/24/09 11:17 PM
I cannot believe it....it has finally happened!   I did not think we would see this day for a very long time, if ever.  I wish I had DVR'd it.  I was not prepared.  I wonder if anyone else caught it.  I am sure no one else was paying attention.  Maybe they will do it again. Could we be that lucky?
The news reported......yep!  You guessed it, they reported house sales are up and rising.  I don't even remember which station.  Now, I am flipping all over....I just want to hear it again.  House sales are rising!  Woo Hoo!!
I sometimes will … (21 comments)

A whole day...really, just for me? - 06/16/09 05:01 PM
I just returned home after a couple days out of town.  Not far out of town, just about 2 1/2 hours away.  Sometimes my husband and I will travel to his Uncles house in Tarpon Springs.  They are elderly and we try to visit a couple of times a year to check on them.  They live in a retirement community, so it is very quiet and peaceful.
I decided I wasn't going to do much work, however, that normally doesn't work since my blackberry receives everything instantaneously, bad and good.  So, of course I had to check.  Why can't we have … (6 comments)

He will always be my sunshine.... - 06/05/09 11:33 AM
It seems as though the time just flies by.  Where have all the years gone?  And most importantly, how is it possible that my children keep getting older and I don't?   Hahahaha, just kidding, I wish.
My son, Jeffrey, just graduated from 8th grade.  That means he will be in high school next year.....what???
I made Jeffrey a special graduation card.  My little note to him was a remembrance of the days I rocked him in my arms and sang "You are my Sunshine."  I am sure he does not remember those days, but, I know I will never forget.
