The Tidewater Hokie Club is hosting the first Football Kickoff Dinner Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008 sponsored by State Farm Insurance.
Special guests include:
Frank Beamer, Charles Steger, Jim Weaver, Bill Roth and the Hokie Bird!
The dinner will be held at 7pm at the Holiday Inn Executive Center at 5655 Greenwich Rd. in Virginia Beach.  Tickets are $50 per person.
The Tech Bookstore will have plenty of Virginia Tech merchandise for sale from 1-5pm for the general public and 6-close for dinner guests only.  There will also be lots of raffle items and a silent auction with lots of great items.

  I can't believe it!  My husband showed me today that some scammers are trying to sell tickets to the Virginia Tech Spring Football Game!!!!
To set the record straight for those who may not know otherwise.  This Spring Game is FREE to the public!  No tickets are necessary!!!!!
The Spring Football Game will be held this Saturday, April 19th at 2pm in Lane Stadium.  If you have never been to a spring game, I highly recommend doing so for these reasons:

Once the season tickets go out in late July, the ticket office will offer any available single-game tickets to the general public on a first come, first serve basis.
If you have not signed up for season tickets this year, there are other ways to obtain tickets besides the typical Ebay format.
