There is a new business group developing for Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia.  Business owners, professionals and residents from Hammonds Plains and area are invited to an information session on April 8 from 7-9pm to be held at the children's centre of the Cornerstone Wesleyan Church at Hammonds Plains Rd and Kingswood.

I am requesting input for developing the new strategic plan for the Kingswood neighbourhood in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia.
As a communications committee member of the Kingswood Ratepayers Association, we will be putting a survey together to be sent to everyone in the Kingswood and Kingswood North neighbourhoods for approval.  The survey will consist of ideas submitted for consideration to develop using funds collected from previous years and in coming years.  Some of the most popular ideas forwarded to date are:

West Bedford Waterfront Development Meeting Shows the Plan - 03/22/10 07:31 PM
I just returned from a meeting the city conducted to reveal the West Bedford Waterfront plan including Birch Cove and it was awesome!! Picture a village type environment surrounding a round-about replacing the current Kearney Lake Rd/Bedford highway interchange.
Concerns over traffic were addressed by pointing out that this vision will take approximately 20 years to complete and the new Larry Uteck Interchange onto the Bi-Hi will alleviate congestion as would improved transit options currently being developed.

That said, I also acknowledge the constant threat of identity theft which is the number one intent behind online fraud.  The following are a few tips to help prevent against it but still allow you to enjoy the many benefits of online shopping.
