Marshall Norton is an instrumental part of the team here at Avalar Advantage Realty - he is straightforward and has integrity to spare (as a good Marshall should!).  He and I have been talking about what AR has to offer - he "gets it" and I look forward to reading his contributions to the community.
However...he warns me that since I've shown him how easy it is to vblog, we might not ever see his full face again, as the video bug has him enthralled.

Lots & Land For Sale On Mount Lemmon - Tucson's Summer Getaway - 05/11/09 11:17 PM
In the previous post, I wrote about Summerhaven on Mount Lemmon as a great getaway for Tucson residents - summer or winter.  In that post, only homes for sale on Mount Lemmon were mentioned.
There are several building lots for sale in Summerhaven, as well as land acreage on Mt. Lemmon too!

As temperatures start climbing into the triple digits, people in Tucson generally head for one of three places:
Indoors To the lakes To the mountains One of the beautiful things about living in Tucson is that all three are close by!  (Okay, so indoors is always close by - whaddya want, its MY blog)
There are great getaways on the water within a short drive of 2 hours or so...and Mount Lemmon is even closer.  In fact, you've seen it countless times - its the backdrop for most of the scenic photos you've seen of Tucson.  Right in our own backyard … (5 comments)

First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit (Video Clip) - So Simple Even TucsonKent Can Understand It! - 05/10/09 01:13 AM
I've read a lot of great information on the $8000 Tax Credit for first-time homebuyers, most of it from ActiveRain members.  Even with the quality explanations from intelligent people, I still got questions from people to explain it again & again.
So - I figured that making it simple enough that even I could understand what it means to someone buying a home might be helpful.  No offense to all those folks who have done a stellar job writing about it...but I'm not the smartest guy around, so I made a video of it.

Don't Get A Ticket On Your Way To My Office! - 05/09/09 02:39 PM
 
I don't advocate speeding, nor do I think driving really slow on a busy street is a good idea - but the worst thing is having a great day looking for real estate deflated a few weeks later by getting a ticket in the mail.
While understandable getting excited & not paying attention when you're on the way to my office...but radar cameras don't take that into account.  Part of my service is to help you avoid hassles when possible - and share safety tips about the area.
