Not like anyone really needs to read more about how much snow we are getting here in the Sierras but I thought I would make a comment on two issues that I strongly believe that Realtors should address.

1.) Shovel! Plow! Whatever... I had a couple have to walk through 3 feet of snow while I shoveled a path to get them into a listing. (not my listing either) I know all the snow is a great excuse to ski, or just do whatever but you took the listing so do your job. Please have the property easy to access. thanks in advance.

2.) Okay- I have an offer for you!! : -) hmmmm now it is time to do the home inspection, (which you want my buyer to pay for) and we can not access the roof, the decking, the crawl space..So I guess we will just gamble 1/2 a mil on the fact that you, the seller, say everything works dandy. My idea...have your sellers get a home inspection on their property prior to the winter snowfall. Take pictures of areas you know will not be easy to see. It is really common sense...but hey, I have not lived here 25 years so ..well you know the spiel. If you do not do this, you should have the seller pay for the inspection. The buyer should not have to gamble their money on your lack of direction

Enough said ...enjoy the beauty of nature's gift

let it snow..let it snow...let it snow
