I'm having problems giving directions to a house as all seem quite confused on several suggested directions:
Turn right This Way Turn west This Way House is on right 2 blocks up This Way Home on prestigious This Way street location If you miss This Way, turn aound and turn left This Way As there is only one way on This Way there is no wrong way on This Way. Schools and shopping are near This Way Those who find the house will never forget This Way

Optimism is in the Air in Austin
Well finally 2009 is over and we can now focus on a proposed rebounding year in 2010 in Austin.  Austin saw its ups and downs in the market during the past year, with the major “ups” in the lower price ranges (<$300k) coming from extremely low interest rates combined with substantial tax incentives by the national government.
The mid price range homes ($300 - $700k) saw a noticeable improvement in inventory though demand still has not seen a noticeable improvement as of the end of the year that would make a major impact.

A THANK YOU to a couple of agents.........I am so proud of our agents for performing quite well in such a challenging market.  Perhaps what helps is the attitude that some of our agents have that 2009 was a market to make business, and not merely trying to survive.  This is a mindset that is difficult to comprehend when so much negative news is thrown out by the media and people in the industry.  Two of our newer agents each did quite well having gotten into a business that was entering turmoil.  Brandy Finnessey ended the year with a bit … (2 comments)
