July's horrible is an anomaly, right? When the government came out with the tax credit program for first time home buyer, and later extended and expanded upon the program, I wondered what effect was this REALLY going to have. Would this program bring buyers that could not normally buy a home into the market? Would this program reduce the decision time in which a buyer was planning on buying a home? As anticipated, closings in the River North area dropped in July as most of the tax credit sales closed in June. (Area market report link is below) 
Steiner Ranch continues to maintain a robust rebound with its 16th straight month in inventory declined combined by 6 straight months of sales increases.  WOW!
