A staggering 59 homes are pending sales (under contract) in the River North area of Austin. Compare that to 21 closings last month and 29 closings the month before, the 59 number will gain anyone’s attention. Though some of those pending sales will not go close for one reason or another, and some will close next month, we are seeing more activity in November than we have seen in the last couple of years in the area.

Perhaps a bit harsh title, but Friday I was going to write a blog that we could still sell and close a home within 5 days. But at the closing table I got some horrible news that made the 5 day closing meaningless. My client did not show up on time for closing, so I called to find out what was the delay.
