Though this notice if for one community in Austin, River Place on Lake Austin, it does pose the question of what will likely happen to not only cities, but states in the coming years to decades unless some major alternatives are designed.  We will make it through this drought.....but what will happen in 25 years when our city population doubles?  I don't have the answer, but it is pretty safe to say that our water source will be bone dry if we maintain our current system and another serious drought occurs.  It is a concern that we all have been ignoring … (5 comments)

The market in the RN Area (River North) of Austin saw noticeable improvement in both sales and inventory of homes priced under $700k.  Here are a few highlights and lowlights; and, the complete report is as a link below.

So what is the correlation of either the stock market or interest rates to your market?  Or is it both?  Or are you throwing darts at the wall for answers? Greed (or not cost effective thinking) may have cost me a sale on one of my listings this past week.
