T. Morgan's Juicy Crawfish Monica (or Crawfish Harmonica, if you've got some good music goin' on!)
1 12-oz. package Bernard's frozen crawfish tails (or 3/4 lb. shrimp, lump crabmeat, or oysters)
3/4 stick butter
1 to 1 ½ cups half-and-half, depending on how juicy you want it!
½ medium onion (c. 2/3 cup), chopped
3 tsp. minced garlic
1 Tbsp. or more Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning
2 ½ cups rotini or your favorite pasta
Thaw crawfish tails in a pan of cool water for about 20 minutes. Cook pasta, drain, and rinse thoroughly. Melt butter in a large pot and sauté onions and garlic for 3 minutes. Add the … (2 comments)

Churches and Other Historic Property in Osyka, Mississippi - 09/15/07 10:50 AM
Osyka, MS, is a wonderful town in Pike County just a stone's throw north of the Louisiana line. It's imbued with a rich history dating back before the Civil War. Here are some pictures I took on a recent trip to the town.
Osyka Presbyterian Church, est. 1856.
The former Catholic church, recently purchased by an individual.

Osyka Methodist Church.
Masonic Hall, built in 1867, said to be the oldest in the state.
