Last month I got a email from a gentleman in Virginia who was researching navy relocation in Snohomish County regarding a relocation packet. Since there was no such packet made I got going on it and researched more information.
One of the biggest items he was looking for was detailed information regarding Snohomish County school districts and charts that could compare them all. Not knowing that information I called school districts, sent emails and called teachers I knew in the area. The result was finding the site the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).

It has been sometime since posting on ActiveRain, other than the previous rant, but it hasn't been because I have been lazy. Quite the contrary as the market has slowed down it has given me the opportunity to build a relocation packet for people looking to relocate to Snohomish County.
It was harder than I first thought, not because it is challenging to build a packet, but to find the information that is from credible sources. Rules, rules and more rules - 12/03/07 04:54 PM
I just finished reading Ardells "Blogging-Etiquette-Again" post and it got me thinking about past posts I've read when it comes to blog etiquette and my personal views on blog etiquette. It seems that since blogging has grown in popularity there have been un-written, now written, rules that are part of a growing lists of what not to do. 
One of my personal favorites is the "do not put links in the comments of blogs" rule. In my opinion that is about the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Why? Because links are excellent reference for readers, not necessarily commentors, and authors.
