seattle sports: Seattle Mariners Opening Day 2007 - 04/03/07 10:26 AM
Well yesterday was a perfect day to take off work and go catch the opening day of baseball season at Safeco Field. The Seattle Mariners spanked on the Oakland A's, HECK YEA, with a 3 run home run from Richie Sexson. It was so much fun to take the day off work, well I worked from home and made breakfast, and enjoy a lazy morning with the bright blue sky in downtown Kirkland. My friends and I are all hoping that the Seattle Mariners have a great season and by the looks of it seems they just may. GO MARINERS!!

seattle sports: Seattle travels to Chicago - 01/10/07 05:31 AM
This weekend's playoff game, Seattle vs Chicago, is going to be a rematch of an early season game where Chicago destroyed Seattle 37-6. Hopefully the game ends on a different note this time and Seattle can continue onto the NFC Championship game two years in a row.
I know many out there are not going to give Seattle a chance but that doesn't affect this fan one bit. Last week Seattle got a win against Dallas and all I have read is that it was luck that Seattle got a win and Dallas should have really won. But what isn't talked about … (9 comments)

seattle sports: Seahawks beat Cowboys 21-20 - 01/06/07 05:40 PM
Tonight was game to be marked the Seahawks history books. In a Wild Card Playoff Game the Seahawks hosted the Cowboys at Quest Field. From everything I was seeing the Cowboys were picked to win but the game tells a different story that has 68K plus Seahawks Fans happier than a puppy with two peters, read full article. … (25 comments)

seattle sports: Seattle Seahawks Playoffs Prelude - 01/05/07 08:14 AM
Tomorrow, January 6, 2006, is a big day in Seattle because it marks the first game for the Seattle Seahawks in their march to the Superbowl. The Seattle Seahawks will be hosting the Dallas Cowboys who have been on a loosing streak and could be ready for a win. But having a rookie quarter back is not something a coach likes when going into the playoffs.
The Seattle Seahawks are really weak in their secondary with injuries after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game last week. The Seattle Seahawks won that game but their oppenant wasn't as tough or lethal as the … (11 comments)

seattle sports: Seattle Seahawks: Last game of the regular season - 12/31/06 04:31 AM
Today the Seattle Seahawks are playing away against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the final game of the regular season. The Seattle Seahawks need to get a win here to start building some momentum for the playoffs and to start getting back into the winning mind set that they have failed to be in for the last 3 games.
The biggest thing the for the Seattle Seahawks is to avoid injury, increase ball control (no turnovers) and make tackles in the back field so they can get back to the Seattle Seahawks of last year. I am totally excited about watching … (8 comments)

seattle sports: Christmas Eve Football - 12/24/06 02:16 AM
The Seattle Seahawks are hosting a Christmas Eve game against the San Diego Chargers at Quest Field in a decisive game. The Seattle Seahawks (8-6) need a win today to secure a playoff spot and the San Diego Chargers (12-2) need a win to clinch home field advantage in their playoff run.
Both teams are going to be playing hard and tough (hopefully for 4 quarters). The Seattle Seahawks have been notorious this year in not starting to really play until the second half and it has dramatically affected our season as the record reflects. Another big contributor to the Seattle Seahawks season … (12 comments)

seattle sports: Thursday Night Football - 12/13/06 09:03 AM
If going to a Thursday Night Football game isn't a great excuse to get off work earlier I don't know what is. Tomorrow the Seattle Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers in nationally televised game at Quest Field. The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a loss to the Arizona Cardinals (don't even get me started on that one) and it makes this game critical to the end of their season. With a record of 8-5 there is no margin for error when getting a decent playoff spot. No more predictions coming from me as it seems there are just bad ju-ju. … (13 comments)

seattle sports: Seattle Seahawks and week 14 - 12/06/06 06:27 AM
This week the Seahawks continue to their road trip in Arizona. Coming off a big win against the Devenver Broncos last Sunday night they need to maintain pose and not get over inflated. In my post Seahawks beat Broncos 23-20 I discussed the details of the game if you like a recap but the main highlights where the Hawks didn't play in the first half and then dominated the second.
Arizona is going to be a challenge now that Leinhart is gaining his moment. He is going to become a very great quarter back IMO. To win this game the Seahawks will … (2 comments)

seattle sports: Monday Night Football: Green Bay Packers vs Seattle Seahawks - 11/26/06 12:40 PM
For the second time this year the Seattle Seahawks will host Monday Night Football. This is one for the record books because it could be the last time Brett Farve is in Seattle. Friends and I are heading to the game early because of the weather, its snowing like a mad man up here.
Seattle is hoping to have Hasselbeck back in the line up and with our MVP in the backfield the Seahawks have a great chance at stomping the Packers. Last year these two teams faced each other for the last game of the season with the Packers winning. So … (11 comments)

seattle sports: Seattle Seahawks host the divisional rivals - 11/12/06 03:17 AM
The 5-3 Seattle Seahawks host the 4-4 St. Louis Rams in a NFC West Divisional showdown at Quest Field. Seattle is still missing their Probowl Quaterback, Matt Hasselbeck and MVP Running Back, Shaun Alexander but even without these to  players the Hawks show they can still win. Senca Wallace, starting QB, will have to playing a top game and using all the assets at his disposable.
Last week Wallace made his second NFL start and he is a very diversified quarterback, running, passing and sometimes at the same time. There were multiple times when Wallace had to scramble out of the pocket, by … (6 comments)

seattle sports: Monday Night Match Up - 11/05/06 07:08 AM
This Monday night the Seattle Seahawks host ex-divisional rivals, the Oakland Raiders. Quest Field will be off the chain and the excitement will be oozing from all the Hawk's fans viens. It is going to get rough and roudy and it is my bet that will be very few Raider fans at the game. The Raiders won't have soon forgotten their preason 30-7 loss to the Hawks!
The Hawks have an injury list that consists of Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun Alexander. This has made is hard for Seattle really to carry momentum from game to game. Seneca Wallace, back up QB, got his … (2 comments)

seattle sports: Seahawk Sunday - 10/22/06 07:39 AM
Well it is defininetly that day of the week again and I could hardly keep my cool. The Seattle Seahawks are taking to Quest Field to battle the Minnesota Vikings. The Hawks are 4-1 and leading the NFC West with a over-time win against the St Louis Rams.
This is the first home game is almost a full month so all the fans are going to be extra hungry and extra loud. Any Seattleites our there want to share a comment how loud the stadium is? Like, approx where you live (please don't leave an address), how loud the stadium is and what … (2 comments)

seattle sports: Seattle Seahawks move to 4-1 - 10/16/06 06:19 AM
Wow, what a game on Sunday. It looked as if the Seattle Seahawks were going to get their second consecutive road loss. In the first half the Hawks only managed to put 7 points points to the Ram's 21. Josh Brown double doinked a field goal from 34 yards and it seemed nothing could go right for us. The second haslf was a total different story with Hawks coming back to take the lead. Then in last 3 minutes of the game the Rams scored to make it 28-27 St Lous. Hasselbeck marched the team down field and with 4 seconds … (4 comments)

seattle sports: Seattle Seahawks vs St Louis Rams - 10/13/06 07:55 AM
This weekend the Seattle Seahawks face off agains their divisional rivals the St Louis Rams. My prediction Hawks 35 Rams 13. Even though the Rams are 4-1 they haven't played anyone tough yet. With the Hawks coming off a bye week and getting back tight end Jeremy Stevens, they should be healthy and hungry. It is going to be a good game and for some more info visit the Seahawk's Blog for a fun article and pictures. … (14 comments)

seattle sports: Huskies & Seahawks - 10/07/06 12:55 PM
Today I watched the Washington Huskies play USC in the colloseum. It was a great game al lthe way through. The DAWGS never let the Trojans get to far out from and stayed within striking distance. In the beginning of the second half the Dawgs came out of the locker room with an onside kick. What and onside kick to open the half? Yeppers, and we recovered. Boo Yaoo...with the moment going in our direction, Isaac just couldn't get a TD in that drive and the Dawgs settle for a field goal. That is ok, because he played a phenominal game, … (8 comments)

seattle sports: Hawks vs Bears: I am not Happy! - 10/02/06 09:10 AM
Well, last night the Seattle Seahawks were brutalized by the Chicago Bears 37-6. What the heck happened on the flight to the Windy City? Did the Hawks leave behind their smart playing and no penalty attitudes? Must have because that was a nasty game to watch if you're a Hawk fan. At least we lost to a really good team and didn't get beat up by the Cardinals or something. With the lost out of the way we can go out and face the rest of our oppenents with vengance! Keep your heads up Hawk fans cuz its only week 4. … (11 comments)

seattle sports: Seahawks Sunday - 10/01/06 06:01 AM
The clock on my computer says 10:16am on Sunday morning. The Hawk vs Bears game starts only 7 hours. Arg, the agony, and I must resort to watching the Chargers vs Ravens game.
Over the past few weeks I have bee searching on Seattle Sport bloggers to see what everyone else is saying about the Hawks. The Seattle PI and KING5 both allow comments but KIRO does not. This morning I found a greaqt review on the Washington vs Arizona game. The Huskie wasn't televised yesturday, which is unbelievable, but Molly Yanity gave a great breakdown on the Huskies 21-10 WIN over Arizona. Can I … (10 comments)

seattle sports: Seattle Seahawks vs Chicago Bears - 09/28/06 03:29 PM
OMG this is a gem that will mark a season. The Seattle Seahawks square off against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in this weeks Sunday Night Football game. Boo Yaoo!! The top defenses are going to do 60 miinutes of battle against some huge offenses. I can't wait and I am having a Sunday night party at my place with tons of HAWK FANS!! The nachos will be hot, the TV loud while we watch another bludgening. I have posted some stats and predictions over at the Seahawks Blog. Swing over and take a peak!! … (6 comments)

seattle sports: Seattle Seahawks - 09/24/06 06:17 AM
It's a good day for some fottball in the Pacific Northwest. It is sunny and the air is clear, you could ask for a better day. Today the Hawks face off against the Gaints...it will be loud and it will be good. yesturday was a good day for the Washington Huskies. The Dawgs won 29-19 over UCLA. Sweet!

seattle sports: Seattle Seahawks and week 3 - 09/21/06 03:24 PM
The Seattle Seahawks are facing last years most gruesome opponent the New York Giants. The game last year the Hawk Fans created 11 false starts, an all time NFL high. Now as the game approaches there is word that the Seattle Seahawk organization piped in false crowd noise to make the stadium louder. That is a bunch of garbage.
Being at last years game I can tell you first hand that there was NO falsifying of crowd noise. The hunger the fans feel is the most in the NFL right now and winning the NFC Championship game only made us hungrier. The … (5 comments)
