So, I feel like I have to share this since I feel like the AR family is an extension of my own. 
Me and my wife had the first Dr's appointment yesterday for the new addition.  I know it's my 3rd, but it still amazes me the first time I hear the heartbeat!!  I guess I'm just a big softy at heart, because I was caught wiping a tear away.  I had something in my eye, and that's the story I'm sticking too!!

Not a Bad Weekend - 10/25/10 06:49 PM
Another Monday has come and gone.  Looking back on the weekend, it wasn't half bad.  First off, open house yesterday wasn't too bad.  Would have liked to have seen a few more people there, but I live in racing country, and the NASCAR event was at the closest track to home.  But, still no complaints.
The weekend started off with a bang.  Had an awsome show with The Pop Rivets on Friday night.  Had a great crowd that loved to make some noise.  That always makes it a fun show.

Toni ght my band The Pop Rivets, is playing at Awful Arthurs at Towers Mall in Roanoke.  It's been a long time since we've rocked that place, so come on out and make some noise.
If you haven't heard us, we play a wide variety of soul, rock, punk, and funk.  Always a good time.  If you're a member of AR, I'll be working sound and lights, so come on over and say hi.  I'd love to meet some fellow bloggers in person.

Ok, so I know it's Tuesday, but I just had to say that I had a great time with my open house on Sunday, and met some fantastic people. 
For anyone who was wondering, it sure seems like things are looking up.  It wasn't really heavy traffic, but the people who showed up were in the market to buy for sure.  I still love this job!!

New Beginnings - 10/10/10 11:01 AM
Greetings again!  So if you have followed my blog posts this past week, you already know it has been a big week for me.  I'm excited about all the changes going on in my professional and personal life.
All these changes are now driving me to do something I have needed to do for far too long now.  Today (hopefully) is my last day as a smoker.  I've been doing it well over half of my life.  My careers have always enabled the habit.  Any of you who are, or who know musicians, know that it's just a part of what … (2 comments)

Big Day For A Newbie!! - 10/08/10 07:27 PM
What an awsome day it's been.  I closed on my first sale today!! Extremely excited about that!  It's amazing when everything comes together with minimal glitches.  I still loved the whole experience. From showing my client the first house, to negotiations, to finally finishing everything up today.  Amazing feeling when you put someone in their first house!
Of course, I knew today would be a great day early on.  I found out this morning that my wife and I are expecting our third baby!!!  I love being a daddy!  For the record, this is the last.  Don't want to get too … (10 comments)

I'm not writing this blog to spark a political debate, although I'm sure it will. 
Fall is my favorite time of year.  I love the welcome cool breezes, the shorter days, football, and every 2 years we have a chance to have our voices heard.  We are 28 days from that opportunity.  I'm sure with as many members as there are on AR, there are plenty of views from each side.  I'll leave mine out of this discussion for now.

Finally Playing In The Rain - 10/01/10 09:17 PM
Today, after much debate and hesitation, I finally decided to start "playing" in the rain.  I've been a member for a couple of months, but today I decided to upgrade to Rainmaker status.  I'm excited about the tools, and advice I've already received from Active Rain, and I'm sure now it will only get better.
The people I've been in contact with have been a tremendous help in building my confidence in the real estate market.  I think it is by far the best career decision I have ever made.
