Productive Weekend - 05/31/11 06:40 PM
First of all, let me give a huge thank you to all the open house advice I received. Rest assured that I will put it to good use, and let everyone know how it works. All the ideas also got the wheels turning with some of my own ideas, that I will test and gladly pass along if they work. On the home front, we finally closed on the HUD house today, and the clients are very excited to get started working on their new home. I haven't sold a lot of homes, but I still love the feeling when it (0 comments)
Happy Memorial Day - 05/30/11 10:52 AM
Just a quick post to remember those who allow all the rest of us to do what we do. To all of those who gave their lives, their health, and all past and present troops serving our country...THANK YOU!!! Those 2 words are never going to be enough to give back all that you have given, but know that they are given from the heart. Keep up the great work!!! -Todd (1 comments)
Open Houses...I Need Advice - 05/30/11 10:44 AM
Hello again everyone! So, it's time for me to once again reach out to the AR community on a question that I have. I do several open houses in my area. I am pretty much the go-to guy in our office for that. I know the statistics (about 7% of open houses sell at the open house). The one I had yesterday was a beautiful home (13 comments)
HUD Closing Nightmare - 05/25/11 09:27 PM
Ok. Let me preface this by saying thank you to everyone involved in this process from the selling agent, to the title company, to my lending officer, and most of all to my client. I am currently in what seems like has been an endless delay to close a HUD property. The house is a very good purchase for my client, and everything she hoped to get in her new home. I will leave the name of the company (not the local agent, but the company who is representing HUD) out of the conversation, because it is not important. We initially (7 comments)
Back in action. - 05/21/11 04:20 PM
Oh Active Rain community, how I've missed you!!!! It's been way too long since I've been on here, but I'm back again in full force. Since we've last seen each other, the new addition to the family has arrived. She was born on April 28, and was born twice. (YES TWICE). Long story short, I am the most blessed man in the world, because I almost lost my wife and new daughter that morning. I'm not one to get too religious in a forum like this, but I beleive it was definately God's hand that pulled us all through...and the most (2 comments)
