I don’t know about you, but sometimes I find myself conflicted. In studying God’s word through the Bible, I often times think of my faith in terms of ancient history. I have to keep reminding myself that God continues to work through us…and there are people among us who carry on God’s message…even though it is not being recorded as Scared Scripture. All of us know people, who by their actions and words, remind us that God is in our midst each and every day. These people; by what they say, in books they write, and by the things they do…teach (3 comments)

I just turned 62 years old last week, and I must confess; I am a really slow learner. All these years I thought I had a great relationship with God. I attended church on a regular basis. I had been involved in activities in my parish; having served on various committees over the years. I raised my children in the faith. Outwardly, I looked like a “good Christian”. As many of you know, I have written quite a bit in my blogs about exploring my relationship with God… and yet, despite all that…I always felt there was some piece of the puzzle (7 comments)

I have had the good fortune to be the proud father of both biological children and adopted children, so I have a perspective on parenthood that not many others share. I don't say this in a boastful way, and I don't mean to set myself up as superior to all the other parents out there. The path I have walked has been different...that's all. Let me explain. My wife and I had two biological children when we decided that we wished to expand our family through adoption.
