Frustrated Tom mode, today! It seems like our Guilds...NAR, CAR, local Associations of Realtors...would be hopping mad about this turn of events. 
I was under the impression that the New Year was going to bring New Deals and Programs to help buyers purchase the stockpile of FORECLOSURES, REOs and SHORT SALES in, or on their way into, the pipeline.

Today is the first business day of the New Year 2010.  I predict that Foreclosures and Short Sales will drive the Southern California and U S real estate market, again, this year. 
I know, I know...the NAR and the CAR and PWAOR all predict the coming of the recovery in 2010.  Yet, here I am, speaking about more Foreclosures, REOs and Short Sales.  The financial experts our "National Guilds" always hire have not correctly called the market for the past twenty years so it figures that they have produced more of the same in their predictions this year.
