The numbers are in for January and we see that Home Sales in Vestavia Alabama were down from December 2009. In January we had 21 homes close - down from 43 in December. This was UP, however, from January of 2009 when there were 19 sales.
The average sales price was $370,547 and the median price was $286,000, with sale prices coming in at 94.24% of list. Homes ranged from $140,000 for a 5 Bedroom, 3 Bath in Vestridge to $868,000 for a 5 Bedroom, 4.5 Bath in Magnolia Ridge. Four homes sold in … (0 comments)

Vestavia Alabama is a very short commute to downtown Birmingham and features many neighborhoods with large mature trees. Home sales increased in February. We saw 24 homes close in December, 16 close in January and now 32 close in February. The average sales price was $362,313 with houses priced from $104,500 for a 2 Bedroom, 1 bath condo at Montreat to 1.2 Million for an estate in Liberty Park. Currently there are 425 Homes for Sale in Vestavia.

Home sales in Vestavia were strong in the month of May 2008 with 60 homes closing. This was up from 46 in April, 36 in March and 33 in February. Twelve sales were in Liberty Park. The average salesprice was $389,078 with prices ranging from $79,000 for a 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo in Montreat to $975,000 for a 5 Bedroom, 4.5 Bath on the lake in Liberty Park. The average days on market for sold properties was 78.80. Currently there are 448 properties on the market in Vestavia which represents a 7.46 month supply (down from a 10.78 month supply … (0 comments)

Home sales in Vestavia picked up to 41 in April (up from 33 in February and 36 in March). Five sales were in Liberty Park. The average salesprice was $380,569 with prices ranging from $102,000 for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo at Montreat to 1.2 million for a 5 bedroom 4.5 redo on the Vestavia Country Club. There was also a second redo on the country club that sold for 1.1 million and a 1.125 million sale in Liberty Park. The median price was $313,347.
