The world seems to get smaller daily. The internet and instant news generation has changed our dependence upon stability around the world. Egypt's problems are now America's problem as turmoil in the middle east affect stock prices and gas prices. Both of which hit Americans in our pocket books! We are at the brink of a potential real estate recovery teetering on moving forward or falling backwards. The new year usually brings hope for the Spring sales season and the buying opportunity of buying a home in January or 'February ahead of the rush is prime. Home buyers are just beginning

Is Mello Roos just a Scam that has cost the buyer and cheated the Realtor out of their just due commision? - 01/22/11 03:23 PM
I'm just saying... It seems to me that the addition of the Mello Roos Bond has been deceptive and a complete failure. This is just my opinion but as a Realtor these are my observations of the Mello Roos Bond: It seems to have been created to go around the Prop 13 laws in California which limited the property tax to 1% of the purchase price. The idea was to increase the revenue and rename this a bond rather than a tax. Buyers, in good times, didn't mind paying this bond as it allow them to buy a home. That's

Consumer confidence and job hiring are both on the rise. Interest rates more quickly than they come down. Interest rates have receded slowly over the past two weeks. Does High Volume mean High Knowledge in regards to choosing your Realtor? - 01/12/11 03:17 PM
Many sales people have been driven by numbers. Some of the highest performers based on volume, total sales and most money earned couldn't care less about the people that they represent. In fact total sales may have very little to do with the quality of the sales person and more to do with their power of persuasion. Keep in mind that a person can be in business for 30 years yet have only 1 years experience 30 times. A Great Realtor in business for 30 years will bring you all 30 years of experience! 2011 has begun and the real estate market has come out of the cocoon and is now beginning the transformation into a butterfly! Predictably, buyers are now searching the internet for the best priced and located homes hoping to beat the Spring rush. Real Estate is local and in my community, the Santa Clarita Valley in Southern California is the destination of choice for those searching for a safe community with great schools that's family friendly and offers a feeling of belonging. Times have Changed! Ever since the new congress was elected it's been a new day for the American Economy. The fear of a collapse has been replaced with higher interest rates to head off the upcoming inflation. Inflation is the best friend for those that have their money invested as investment values rise as the dollar value drops.
