stock market: Halloween Events 2022 Also Is it a Time to Panic? - 10/08/22 05:44 PM
Friends, Family and Clients,
Halloween Events, Haunted House & Thing to do in California 2022
Rising Mortgage Rates continue to impose havoc on the real estate market.  This is a great time to think about your financial future.  The Sky may not be falling but the future is awfully cloudy.  The Fed is immune from the pain they have inflicted on the average citizen as their focus remains on putting a halt to the out-of-control inflation that they have caused.  There is another anticipated rate increase expected despite all of the warning of the possibility of a massive recession.  Check your financial status … (1 comments)

stock market: Labor Day Weekend, the End of a Sad Summer - 09/02/20 08:08 PM
Happy Labor Day,

What a sad year for all of us. We have been forced to live life as if we were a third world nation. Masks, home-bound, no indoor eating at restaurants, small businesses going bankrupt, many businesses hanging on by a thread, hospitalizations and loss of life is hurting our American Spirit. The Stock Market and Real Estate Market remain strong.
Labor Day Weekend, just like Mother's Day, Father's Day, Memorial Day & Easter will not be as enjoyable of events as we usually enjoy. We, as Americans, will keep our eyes on the future knowing that better days are ahead … (14 comments)

stock market: Do you realize that we can not avoid going into a recession? - 03/11/20 04:04 PM
It is already too late to avoid a worldwide recession.  Too many jobs have been lost, events cancelled, paychecks missed, mortgage paymense unpaid and net worth devastated.  Talk of a cure being at least a year ago has shattered consumer confidence.
This post is not meat to create fear but prepare you for a rough ride ahead.  Protect your finances.  Be careful on your spending and warn your friends, neighbors and family of impending turmoil.

stock market: Stock Market on the Rise, Home Sales are Stagnant - 07/29/19 11:47 AM
Family, Friends, Clients and all,
The stock market remains on fire while the real estate market seems to have run out of gas. Home prices have levelled off and price reductions are running rampant. The Santa Clarita Valley is made up of six areas which include Valencia, Stevenson Ranch, Saugus, Castaic, Newhall and Canyon Country. The entire valley currently has 635 active listings of which is made up of 475 single family homes. Only 22 of these single-family homes are price below $500,000. Valencia has one single family home and Stevenson Ranch none priced below $500,000. The highest price home in our … (2 comments)

stock market: How Smart is Tesla CEO Elon Musk? - 08/09/18 12:21 PM
Have you heard the latest news from Tesla's CEO Elon Musk?  He stated that the company may be going private and would value the home at $420 per share.  The stop has fluctuated between $290 - $380 over the past six months.  The stock shot up to $30 per share to $32.50 almost immediately upon the news release.  That wasn't the genius of Elon Musk, the genius is that it is now planted in peoples head that the stock will eventually be valued at $420 so those hold the stock will not be selling and savvy buyers will be buying with this anticipation.

stock market: Prices are Up yet Activity is Down, Go figure! - 01/05/16 01:21 PM
Supply and demand ultimately determine the value of an. y product with homes being no exception.  However this relationship is sometimes disguised as it surely is this year.  The stock market, China devaluation of their currency, financial problems in Europe and war in the middle-east should all dictate a slowdown in the rise of home prices.  There are less buyers out there looking for a home but as it turns out, those looking are highly motivated and buying homes.  The low inventory of homes for sale has kept homes scarce and given home owners confidence to list at a higher price.  Homes … (3 comments)

stock market: No, not everyone should own a home. - 10/19/15 01:18 PM
Home Ownership is not for everyone.  There are many reasons to rent or live with someone rather than owning a home.  Renting makes sense if you are not sure you will have your job for the long run or even sure if you like working there.  Renting makes sense as well if you are new to a community and don't know yet if this is the place you would like to live for the next five or more years.  Renting also seems to make sense if you don't want to take on long term debt or maintain a home inside and … (2 comments)

stock market: Thinking of Selling or Buying a home? Let's get started! - 03/07/15 12:55 PM
Dear Clients & Friends,

Daylight Savings time has begun and Spring is less than two weeks away. The rather mild Winter has started the home buying and selling season earlier than usual. Homes are selling at a brisk pace, home prices are once again on the rise even as interest rates have continued to fall.
This weeks jobs report was stronger than expected, the unemployment rate fell to 5.5%. You would think this would be great news for the Stock Market. Unfortunately stocks dropped as the strong jobs market may signal the end to the historic low interest rates. … (1 comments)

stock market: The heck with the Stock Market, Invest in a home! - 05/08/10 09:14 PM
It is the perfect time to pull money out of the stock market and invest in the real estate market!  The Stock Market bottomed out then skyrocketed.  Home prices are down about the same percentage at the stock market when it hit the bottom.  This is the time to invest in real estate, take advantage of the tremendous write offs and ride the market back to the new peak!
Unlike stocks, real estate has real value.  There will always be a need for rental properties and there is no better way to protect the future!  Buy a home and when you … (4 comments)

stock market: Does the Crash of Million Dollar Homes signal the bottom of the market is officially here? - 02/10/10 06:08 AM
The first sign that the real estate bubble was beginning to burst was back in October 2005 when investors were left holding the bag.  Although the market began the long journey downhill home prices actually rose until the middle of 2006.  Homes were being listed longer and expiring but when they sold they were at the same or higher prices.  Then the lowest priced homes dropped in value as mid ranged and high priced homes held steady.  In 2007 home sales were stagnant yet prices remained quite stable.  In 2008 prices began to fall with condos town homes and low end … (0 comments)

stock market: Valencia & Santa Clarita, California Homes are Selling, Finally! - 08/21/09 01:11 PM
Financial Institutions released information last Fall that was so devastating that in lead to the Stock Market crash. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell for a peak of just over 14,000 Point to a low of around 6,500 Points.
This was all predicated on the Bubble Bursting in Real Estate. Loans that had been made on properties valued as much as 50% below purchase price were unsecured. Borrowers walked away for their homes leaving financial institutions holding the bag. The consumer had to bail them out. This plummeted the stock market which hurt every American. This hurt the rest of the … (0 comments)
