This is our entry into the "It's Time for the 2016 Version of Show Us Your Home for the Holidays" Active Rain contest sponsored by Debbie Laity.
 
Every Holiday Season Suzanne and I celebrate by carefully assembling our prized Department 56 Dickens Village pieces into our own village.

Over the past few days Suzanne has trundled out the various pieces of the Department 56 Dickens Village that grace our home from just after Halloween until New Years Day.
 
If you are not familiar with Department 56 give the link a click and you may be amazed!
 
It's not just about setting up the various pieces (a couple of dozen or so), it's about creating the background landscape in/on which the pieces sit. 
 
Most of the pieces are lit internally - another time consuming and precision required aspect of the project.
