Commerically operating an aerial drone, such as the DJI Phantom 4 Pro that is part of our fleet, to take aerial photos and videos is not illegal PROVIDING the drone pilot in command has an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilots license or other specific authorization from the FAA.
 
Commercial operation of an aerial drone by an unlicensed pilot IS illegal and risks significant legal consequences for all involved with such an operation.

Generally speaking there are at least three reasons to consider a Short Sale versus letting the property go to foreclosure:
 
 
1. The amount resulting from a Trustees Sale (Foreclosure) will be less than the amount the Lender(s) receive from a Short Sale, meaning that the amount of “debt forgiven” by the lender is less with a Short Sale, and therefore tax liability (if there is one) is less by completing a Short Sale.

Great question!
In a Short Sale all expenses of the sale usually paid for by the Seller in a traditional sale are paid from the proceeds of the sale and do not come out of the Seller's pocket.
In a traditional sale, Buyer and Seller enter into a contract with a specific sales price, terms and conditions, and stipulations as to who pays (Buyer or Seller) for what expenses of the sale that need to be paid at close of escrow.
