As colleagues and real estate professionals, most of us abide by and are totally familiar with the Realtor Code of Ethics. Even if an agent is not a member of any Association of Realtors, there are scruples that should govern their real estate practices.

More and more frequently homeowners are stripping their homes. Literally everything is removed: toilets, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, air conditioning equipment, light fixtures, everything. I talked to a homeowner a few weeks ago who said he intends to take his pavers!

A BPO is frequently used by lenders to determine the fair market value of property. While a BPO is not as extensive as an appraisal, it does give good insight to the value & condition of a property. BPOs are certainly more in depth than a CMA. That being said, it occurs (5 comments)
