Part of a home stagers job during the intitial consultation is to go through the home and figure out the positive and negative aspects of a space. In any room of the house there should be a dramatic focal point that attracts your eye, but is that focal point pleasing to the eye? Does it have a positive connotation or a negative one? A big entryway, built-in cabinets, kitchen islands, fireplaces, picture windows, hardwood these are all features that are special to a home. So, in order to make sure these features get noticed we have to downplay the negative aspects of the space.We all know the (7 comments)

If you need anymore proof that home staging works just ask Rosalie Labbate of Prudential Douglas Elliman in Bayside. She requested our services after she obtained an REO listing. The house located at 64-54 233rd Street had seen better days. It was home to one family for nearly 60 years, but after the kids grew-up and flew the coop, their father stayed to tend to their beloved home. Pictures Are Worth A Thousand Words! Whatever your excuse for not attending this year's RESA Conference, maybe you didn't have enough dough, or your a Ms. Know-It-All, or you didn't know anyone there. Here is the best example of why going to the RESA Conference is so important...You Get To Meet Others Just Like You!!! In this picture below, I've only really know Karen and Karen from social media, well not anymore! I actually spent an entire day hanging out with my Texans, something that never would've happened if I didn't attend this year's conference. And there is alot more relationships (1 comments)
