When you have a listing...do you put the price on your flyers?  Why or why not?

There is one theory/thought that if you don't put the price, it will make the people call you..but that's not necessarily true anymore with the power of the internet....so plan b....
You don't have to reprint your flyers, if you get a price reduction...

But why not put the price?
I enjoy the "full disclosure" of putting the price on it and then you know when people call, they're seriously a prospect and already know the pricing.

The morning is fresh, the air quiet, the sun is shining...time to eat and get going! 
If you work then there are priorities that you have to juggle and make happen.  It's another day of hustle and bustle for many of us.  I don't know about you, but Sundays for me tend to be more exciting and somehow more relaxed....all in one.  I usually do alot of business on Sundays (or some Sundays, none at all).  It is the 7th day and one of my favorite.

Have you noticed that some people are just doing their thing and others are kind of floundering, doing nothing or looking for another job..resigned to the fact that their real estate career is over?  Why do we get that way?  Well, I'm sure it's just a bad day...

Accumulate enough bad days and (almost) anyone would want to quit this career.
What are some of your favorite parts about your job?  Isn't that why we're self-employed in the first place?

Sometimes you have to show the junk, to make the jewels shine! - 09/18/10 02:48 AM
Today I showed homes in two cities and the best part about it was that I got to let my clients compare.  What was hilarious was that because the jewel went first, then the junk looked worse!
Have you ever had this happen?  Tell me...
 
Also, I remember when I first started the business, my Broker used to make a strategy of showing the junk first, so the other stuff would look that much better.  I don't agree with this.

Pomona Home is Haunted? & Would You Disclose That??? - 09/18/10 02:06 AM
Went to a home for the second visit today with my clients  ...and got the eeriest feeling, AGAIN!!!  The first time I showed it, as I was unlocking and opening the security screen door I thought I saw something moving inside the house...then it happened again today! 

I think the house is haunted.  I asked the Listing Agent today before headed to the home whether someone had died there or not..and she said, she'd have to check.
Has this ever happened to you?

It starts from the first phone call and carries into escrow if you can make it that far.  Right? 

If you're a Buyer's Agent, you probably are thinking along the same lines....?  You want to create SOLID RELATIONSHIPS right now to carry you SMOOTHLY AND SUCCESSFULLY into as Many Escrows as you can get into and CLOSE. 
I am calling Listing Agents this afternoon and thought...this is something good to discuss.

Have you tried this?  I am thrilled to be back on Los Osos High School Sports Schedule for 2010-2011 Sports Season and believe it's a worthwhile cause to get my name out there and also HELP OUT a LOCAL SCHOOL.
I LOVE IT MUCH MORE THAN NEWSPAPERS...Because it has that LOCAL, CONTRIBUTION Kind-of-Feel.

Don't you hate talking to people that don't sound happy to be there?  Or happy to be doing their job?  There IS Another Person on the Other End of The Phone Line...

What happened to sounding Happy & Cheerful to be of assistance?   What about sounding willing to help?  Afterall, we are in business.  Also, it's good to remember how lucky and grateful we are to be a part of such a wonderful industry, filled with amazing opportunities!!!

Any GEORGE CLOONEY Fans out there?  What do you think this movie will be like?
I just finished watching it and the hardest part about it was that it was so (so) quiet, I couldn't enjoy my popcorn!!  Don't you hate that!  Ayyyyyy Yay, Yayyyyy!!
Overall, the scenes were well crafted, storyline pretty easy to follow, some people actors in the movie and when all was said and done, was a little, well.....
I'd better not give it away.  Don't let my grade scare you.  Judge for yourself.
I give it a B-.
