- 03/31/09 12:46 PM
Well my first ever first-time homebuyer classes are finished (for now) and I feel that they were successful at getting some valuable information out there for first-timers. This is such a great time to buy your first home. I've asked a number of Realtors who have been in the business for over 30 years and they believe this is the best opportunity since they've been in real estate. This is a time when I wish I could be buying my first home. I mean look at all the bonuses: - $8000 tax credit (see previous post) - Rural development loan (see (0 comments)

Have you been waiting to buy that first home? Are you ready to move up because your family is growing but don't think you can sell your current home? Why?Some reasons I've been hearing are:"Interest rates aren't changing enough for us to afford a house.""I don't have much of a down payment.""The timing isn't right.""Not a good time to try and sell our house to be able to move up"Well.....Interest rates are falling, yesterday (Jan. 13, 2008) there were rates in the Dayton area for as low as 4.50% for a 30 year fixed and even lower for 15 year loans. www.interest.comFHA (1 comments)
