Now is the time to consider buying those items!! Indiana has enjoyed a comfortable 6% sales tax for the past several years, but that is all about to change...... In an attempt to offset the difference from capping property taxes through the state of Indiana, they agreed to raise our sales tax to 7% beginning on April 1, 2008.
