The Foothill Cruisers are back!
Gates open at 7:00am, show starts at 10:00am. Come early and pick your favorite spot on the green, enjoy a cup of coffee and some pancakes and settle in for a relaxing day of music, vendors, raffles, food, refreshments and mingling.
This year’s car show will be at Christa McAuliffe Park; 2400 Merrychase Drive, (Hwy 50 at Cambridge Road Exit) Cameron Park.

I had to clean up my hands in a local commercial building today, got a surprise plumbing lesson while in there. Apparently they added a small sink in the break room and figured that they could just run a new drain line into the restroom. It is a creative idea.

Drizzling rain in the morning made for a sloppy, muddy day of concrete demolition and form board setting in Cameron Park for this general contractor. As the morning progressed, the sun finally poked its way through the clouds and we got some dry weather before the end of the day.

Not everyone can visualize what a new concrete sidewalk will look like before a concrete is installed. In a recent concrete job, I had access to the stairwell above the area where the sidewalk was needed. By taking a few photos from above, it was easier to draw out what the layout was going to look like.

Today we were able to get a small area of landscaping clear out to make room for a walkway in Cameron Park, CA. Several plants were cut back and one removed to clear a path for a new concrete path from an apartment front door to the common walkway.

If the same water damage recurs, then the water damage problem was never corrected properly. Sure, the damage may have been removed and new material put in its place, but the problem still exists. So don’t have the same repair done again.
