I had the opportunity to participate in a fund raising Golf Tournament today at Bass Lake Golf Course in Rescue, CA. It was a local fundraiser put on by the Friends of the Library, the First Annual Event.
On the second hole, I broke the head of my 4 iron and was not happy about that. I was able to finish the round feeling good about my score despite the early setback. It made me think of all the times that I make excuses for not doing well … (4 comments)

Got The Crew To Swing The Clubs, Instead of Swinging The Hammers.
 
I had an opportunity to get the crew out on the golf course today; they deserved a break in their work schedule. I think it benefits those in the construction trades to get out on the course once in a while during the week. Today, we all had a blast getting together on the links.
They have been working at an incredible rate, knocking out jobs as quick as they come in. They have stepped up to meet some pretty tight deadlines, and a reward seemed well earned.
