I get to drive through a fine horse property community in Placerville on a regular basis. It is nice to pass through and see the many acres of white fenced horse areas, the riding arena, and the many horse trails in Greenstone Country in Placerville, CA I took the opportunity to get this shot over the horse arena with one of the lakes in the background. These are the kind of views that Greenstone Country has to offer homeowners and visitors in this horse property community.
Diamond Springs Walking Trail Mixes The Old With The New
When it comes to getting out for some exercise in the Sierra Foothills, there are numerous walking, riding, and horseback riding trails for the enthusiast in El Dorado County. One of the latest additions was a 2.6 mile stretch in Diamond Springs, CA. This leg of the El Dorado Trail is named “Trestle Segment”.
Along the trail you can see many of the older construction for years ago. This storm drain was left untouched during the construction of the new pavement a few years back. Unlike (8 comments)
Weather you are buying a home in Placerville , or just improving your deck with colors, now is the time to be planting those planters. The spring planting can even make a guy like me look like a “green thumb”. The important thing is to get out there and plant some colorful plants for all to see.
Lots of changes in the work day today; the original plan wasn’t in the cards. What is it about Mondays and the need for acting quick on your feet? I got through it unharmed and looking forward to tomorrow. The weather had some changes too. It was pretty cloudy to start the day, than the last of the clouds for a few days drifted away.
I lot can be said about the quiet end of the day; finding that spot and reflecting on the blessings that we have been given is something that we must experience. Sometimes, it’s the best part of the day in Placerville, CA.
Once the weather starts to turn to Spring, it seems that everyone wants to get out and enjoy the sunshine. While soaking in some rays myself, I noticed that I was not alone. I hope you get a chance to experience the change in weather soon.
Looking More Like Spring Everyday in Placerville, CA
Just got back from a walk through the neighborhood, so many signs of spring; birds chirping, plants blooming, and the weather is quite pleasant in Placerville, CA this morning. What better way to start off the weekend?
Hope that you will be experiencing the same in your local area soon.
The weather was certainly spring-like this weekend, a hint that spring is on its way. Temporature reaching into the 70’s with clear skies was a treat for us in Placerville, CA. Standing on the shore, the colors of early spring were photo-worthy. How about you? How was the weather in your local area?
I was doing a little bit of reflecting on the edge of the lake. It is important to get to a quiet place on occasion, for me it was on the lake. Just sitting quietly for a few moments can do wonders for the mind. Hope you had a chance to get quiet today. (17 comments)
The skies of El Dorado County were filled with clouds throughout most of the day. We got a bit of rain, which is much needed. I had to get a shot of the sunset as I drove through the neighborhood. I hope that you had a chance to enjoy your views today. (12 comments)
Two days ago the weather was in the 70’s and spring seemed just around the corner; today we got a light sprinkling of snow with the temperature getting into the 20’s tonight. That’s quite a change in 48 hours. The snow got down to some pretty low elevations; low enough to make it to my neighborhood.
Dave’s Driving School in Placerville is a driving school that many of the young drivers go to when they are preparing for their driving test. My boys each spent the required driving hours at Dave’s Driving School. The driving instruction at that time was done in some sedan that was not all that memorable.
Recently, the school let the kids drive a cool car. When I saw this red car (8 comments)
I had to stop and get a shot of some of the wildlife today. Although it was pretty cool out today, the clear skies made it a good opportunity for the animals to come out and feed. It seemed like all the animals were out and about in Placerville, CA.
The need for blood can only be satisfied by the donations of others. Science has not come up with a way of making a solution that can be used in its place. There is a constant demand for blood donations year round, with a peak demand in both the winter and summer. Whole blood has a shelf life of 42 days, so blood cannot be collected in advance for these slow donation months. In Placerville and Cameron Park, the Delta Blood Bank is always in need of donors willing to give blood. It is (10 comments)
A Cold Day Around The Neighborhood in Placerville, CA
The clear skies last night pushed the temporatures down to about 28 degrees very early this morning. The calm cold air made for a quiet walk around this small lake this after breakfast. It felt good to get back and now start a fire. Maybe there will be time to watch some football too. J (2 comments)
I got a frantic call from my wife; our latest addition was stuck.
A lot of things can good through your head when you get that frantic call, the family was okay. There wasn’t any medical emergencies, no property loss, and friends and family were just fine. This was a call for help because they tried all they could to solve the problem. Our little kitten, Lucy, has just recently gotten the privilege of going outside. Since we had gotten her as a 6 week old, she needed to get fixed before we would let her explore the great (19 comments)
Temperatures have been dropping in Placerville at night, and throughout the Sacramento region. Black ice on the roads and freeways has created problems driving, two to five feet of snow expected this weekend, and construction projects require much warmer clothing.
This photo is very familiar to many in the country, but to those in Placerville, icicles are not a common sight. (9 comments)
It was quite a day trying to get a plumbing drainage leak under control in an apartment in Fair Oaks today. It was nice to get a glimpse of the sunset before getting home. I had to stop a snap a shot of the sunset from Placerville, the cloud cover brought out some great colors. (9 comments)
