Who Flies Over a Gun Club?
 



While hanging out over in Angels Camp on Highway 49 in Calaveras County, I came across this sign posted on the power pole. The pole was located near the Fairgrounds in Calaveras County; “Frogtown” as the locals call it.

You remember Mark Twain writing about the jumping frogs of Calaveras right?
 
The whole area has frogs as a theme, Mark Twain appears to have put the county on the map.

This still doesn't explain the sign.

This is not a post about my beliefs on the Medical Marijuana issue; it is more of a thought provoking spelling error. I was driving through a parking lot of a commercial shopping strip and saw this sign. The business that moved out is a Marijuana Dispensary; it just made me think.

I got a call from someone looking for a general contractor today; she said she saw my sign on the side of the road. The sign was in Sacramento; she couldn’t remember the street but in was in the Arden area. Funny, I don’t have any signs in Sacramento on any street.
If I were going to have a sign in Sacramento, maybe it would look like this.
I hope that I can help her with her situation, regardless of how she found me!

I find this to be humorous. Sign Shop Photo
While out of town at an Assembly, I needed to streatch my legs so I went for a walk in the area. I came across this small sign shop.
I would have thought that a sign shop would have put a little more effort into creating a better sign for there business.

Okay so the boys and I were walking along and notice the bus stop sign, and couldn't let it get by without a snapshot. There was some confusion as to what the sign really meant. Maybe if we just hung around for a while the smart part would come to us.
