It’s New Years eve
and the thoughts of 3-2-1
would be; what we shout out at 11:59 pm tonight,
during the countdown towards 2010. In real estate, it’s a different meaning.  

3-2-1 refers to a property with
3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths and a 1-car garage.

MOMENTUM into the New Year! - 12/29/09 07:17 AM

I’m a huge sports fan.In particular, I’m a lifelong NY Jets fan, (I know, send me your condolences…ha-ha)…Anyway…This past Sunday, the Jets went up against the 14-0 undefeated Indianapolis Colts that are clearly on their way towards the play-offs to the ultimate goal, the Super Bowl.  The Colts had already clinched their division and a home field advantage. Rocky Road Fudge Recipe - From my Kitchen to yours! - 12/26/09 01:33 PM

ROCKY ROAD FUDGE
2 cups (12-ounce package) Semi Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 1/4 cups (14-ounce can) Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 cup chopped walnuts
 
Line a 13x9 baking pan with tin foil and set aside.
 
In a double broiler melt the chocolate morsels then add the condensed milk until mixture is fully blended.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla.  Stir in the marshmallows and walnuts.
 
Press mixture into the foil lined pan.  Refrigerate for 2 hours. 
Lift from pan, remove foil and cut into pieces.
Makes about 3 dozen

The rule of thumb when showing properties is to; "leave the property as you found it"....but I have a hard time doing that when I see a candle burning.
Many times I've shown properties where the homeowners have lit candles and left the property. 
Personally, after I show the property, I ask my buyers to give me a few minutes while I blow out every candle.

I love candles and always recommend sellers to use them. 
Candles make a home very inviting, with their ambience and aroma.

I wish Nicholas (Nick) Scafidi the very best...he just retired and is on his way to live in Palm Beach, Florida.
Nick joined Diane Turton, Realtors Lacey office back in 2004.  However, he first started his real estate career in Mercer county, NJ in 1973.
Nick served in the United States Air Force in the U.S. and NATO in Europe during the 1960's. Employed by RCA Astro Division in 1960's and 70's and was part of the early development of weather, global positioning satellites and camera equipment for moon landings.
