First it was the residential market that saw in huge influx of Foreclosed and Bank owned properties.  Now it is happening to the Commercial or Development Sector in huge amounts.  Banks are calling in notes, selling notes and selling at incredible losses.

Well, custom home sales are up in our building group, Wingfoot Building Group.  However, it used to be that our clients were looking for what was termed "McMansions".  Large homes with a big footprint in both heated and unheated square footage.  Along with these large footprints came large bills.  Large construction costs, large mortgages and large overall expenses. 

Rencently, most of our clients come in wanting 2800 - 3200 square feet.  They are planning for the future and don't want to have large expenses, large upkeep and money to be able to travel.

But, with this said, even though the footprints are smaller there is still a desire for large closets, fine appointments and lots of outdoor living.
