That's right, I had dinner with Brad Andersohn and you didn't. Brad is in town to teach Omaha Realtors everything there is to know about blogging, social media, and SEO (Brad Andersohn Seminar in Omaha). Brad Andersohn of Active Rain will be giving a seminar in Omaha, NE on 1/15/09. It will be hosted at the Omaha Area Board of Realtors Education Center. The subject he will cover is Maximizing Your Online Presence. It will touch on blogging, social networking, search engine optimization, and of course the importance of the Active Rain real estate community. The five hour seminar is $25 and will include lunch.

Earlier this week I surpassed 100,000 points on Active Rain. In the time it has taken me to accumulate this many points it became obvious just how addictive Active Rain points are. I thank David Matney for introducing me to Active Rain and this new addiction of mine. Now that I have so many points, what can I do with them? Aside from placing me prominently on Active Rain's Nebraska home page, what do these points do? I can't spend them. I can't trade them in for airline miles. I can't eat them... A couple of weeks ago I reached the top 2 spot on ActiveRain for all of Nebraska. It took a lot of time and effort to reach this point. Here's a rundown of what it takes to get to the top.
