A sure sign of Fall is these guys running through my yard. The wild turkeys show up sometime in late September or early October. How do they know it's time to visit Florida?
They are our first snowbirds to arrive every year.

Burning A Hole In The Florida Sky, At sunset a couple of nights ago I was outside checking out the Sandhill Cranes who were sleeping in our pond and saw this interesting sight. Of course, I ran back in the house to get one of my many cameras.
The clouds were like upside-down sheep and the sun just seemed to be burning through them.
I love sunsets and sunrises, there is always such an infinite variety, and I never get tired of seeing them and taking pictures of them.

I took this photo last night just as the sun was going to sleep. It was a beautiful day yesterday in the 70's but some colder weather is coming. It makes for great sunsets.

Don’t forget to visit Holiday Card Lane around Orange Lake. And 3:30 to 5pm at the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce, you can have your picture taken with Santa. (5443 Main Street). Santa has a free gift for the children.

You all know my cat, Shayna. She’s my assistant on the computer in the signature area below. Normally, she loves the computer and enjoys playing with the mouse. But this morning, she checked out our old Underwood which I keep on the old Singer treadle machine (which still works, BTW, so does the Underwood)
I think she likes it! Now, she’ll want to do blogs on the typewriter.
