SmugMug: The ultimate in photo-sharing

If you looking for a website where you can share your photos as well as have them stored and backed up look no farther than SmugMug. I have been a user for two years now and could not be happier with the service they provide.

Personal photos, professional photos- it does not matter; these images take up tons of hard drive space and SmugMug not only alleviates that issue but provides unlimited storage as well as beautiful online display options. Whereas many other photos sharing sites require a user to sacrifice photos resolution, SmugMug has no such limitations.

In fact, SmugMug offers a user a wide menu of control features such as choosing themes to personalize your photo galleries, and preventing your photos from being embedded on other sites. A user can share their entire catalog of photos or password-protect any number of photo galleries or your entire SmugMug account. Also, unlike other photo-sharing sites where a visitor is required to register to view photos this is not the case with a SmugMug account.

SmugMug is not a free photo-sharing site and they do offer a few subscription options but the rates are reasonable yearly fees. SmugMug is in partnership with Amazon: Amazon.com is the standard in safe online backup. All of the SmugMug photos are automatically backed up to Amazon's network of data centers.

The SmugMug site (www.smugmug.com) is ad-free and easy to upload and edit images (you can link directly to www.picnik.com.

ZipForm®Online and your Top Producer 8i account- Part II : Importing Contacts

In my last blog (ZipForm®Online and your Top Producer 8i account- Part I: Setup Instructions), I provided instructions on how to integrate your Top Producer 8i account with your ZipForm®Online account. Now that your accounts are setup you can now start to import contacts from your Top Producer 8i account to a ZipForm®Online transaction.

Importing Contacts from Top Producer to a ZipFormOnline Transaction.

Step 1 -
After you have logged into ZipFormOnline elect the transaction that you want to import contact information into.

Step 2 -
From the Select Action drop-down at the right, select Partners to open the Select Partner pop-up window.

Step 3 -
Click on the Top Producer icon in the SelectPartner pop-up window.

Step 4 -
Enter your top Producer User Name and as much search criteria as you wish then click Search. (Information must be entered in the fields.)

Step 5 -
When the search is returned, choose the appropriate contact and click Select.

Step 6 -
Now select which Role this contact is in the Transaction and click Save In Transaction.

Repeat process for as many Contacts and Roles as you would like.

Close Window and open the appropriate transaction. The information just imported from Top Producer 7i will be populated in the transaction.

***Please note. The information imported will not immediately show on the menu page. It will once you have opened the transaction and saved.

Top Producer 8i is a powerful program and unfortunately many agents are either not aware or do not take advantage of the industry partnerships that Top Producer Systems has developed over the years. One of the core partnerships is with ZipForm.

ZipForm, (www.zipform.com,) is the Official Forms Software of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS^®. ZipForm offers Special Agent and Broker Tools and Packages, Desktop and Online Programs, TMS Integration, Electronic Signatures and integration with Top Producer 8i. ZipForm is a powerful, easy-to-use real estate contract software program that is helping real estate agents and brokers increase productivity while decreasing the amount of time spent doing paperwork.

If you are a Top Producer 8i user and also have an account with ZipForm®Online than you should be integrating both programsto save time and increase accuracy when completing the process of a ZipForm®Online transaction.

How do you integrate both programs? Follow the steps below and you will soon be able to take advantage and increase your Top Producer 8i proficiency

Top Producer Data Export Setup

Step 1 -
Log into your Top Producer 8i account.

Step 2 -
Click the Preference link, than the 3rd party setup tab and select the Add Data Services link.

Step 3 - Choose ZipForm®Onlinefrom the Add Data Service dialog box and Enter The User ID, which is your ZipForm®Online user name/email address.

You are now able to import contacts from your Top Producer account into your ZipForm®Online account.

In my next blog I will provide instructions on Importing Contacts from Top Producer to a ZipForm®Online Transaction.
