The 2009 Bay Area Turkey day 10K and 5K fun run benefitting the Bay Area YMCA's. This race is for the whole family and will be around the scenic neighborhoods of Clear Lake City. The Pearland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association willl have its 4th Annual 10K/5K Pearland Pear Run on Saturday, May 10 on a certified course in Pearland's Independence Park. The Pear Run is a chipped, timed, and certified course where runners wind through the scenic Shady Crest Subdivison. Streets are primarily asphalt and many areas are shaded by large trees.
