Originaly known as French Village and subsequently Léger's Corner, in 1946 it became the Village of Dieppe in memory of the Canadian soldiers killed during the Allied raid on the Normandy coastal port of Dieppe on August 19, 1942. The Multicultural Association of the Greater Moncton Area (MAGMA) is celebrating its third edition of the Multicultural Rendez-Vous Festival. The festival will run from June 28th untill July 1st, 2007 in Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe.
